Pokémon Amethyst ("PAM") is a Pokémon roleplay community based on the popular Nintendo series. PAM takes place in an updated version of Kanto, complete with contests, battledomes, wild catching areas, new gym leaders, and bonus badge challenges alongside the original set of Kanto gyms.

Hello, novice trainer! My name is PROFESSOR OAK and I'm a Pokémon scientist! This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokémon. They're everywhere! Which is why YOU need MY help!

Right now, you're in Pallet Town. The next town is Viridian City, but you'll need to go through ROUTE 1 to get there. Remember, you should use the routes and pathways or risk getting horribly lost and ravaged by wild Pokémon!

You'll start out with ONE Pokémon in its LOWEST form on level six, unless that Pokémon has a baby form. You may have its first evolved form, then. For instance, if you want a pikachu, you do not need to start out with a pichu. You may have any Pokémon you choose, excluding all legendary and faux-lengendary types. (Faux-Legendary includes all Pokémon with stats at the same level as the Legendary types, IE Dragonite, etc.) When getting your pokemon, please give me your name and your desired pokemon, and I'll see what I can do! To strengthen your pokemon, you will have to battle.

If you are competing in the Elite Four Challenge, you must complete each gym IN ORDER. Gym leaders will give you information as you talk to them and, remember, they can answer any questions about the city you're in.

If, for any reason, you no longer want a Pokémon on your team, you may leave said Pokémon with the babysitter in Vermillion City. You can also pick Pokémon back up there, just as you left them.

Oh, I am so proud! My grandson, Gary, just beat the ELITE FOUR and is now the Champion! At least, I think he is...He might have already been beaten. Ah, well. Let bygones be bygones, eh?

Anyway, with all of that out of the way, let's get down to what you need. Take this PARCEL.

*TRAINER got the PARCEL from PROF. OAK!*

a collapsible bike
